The Boards Test-Taking Workshop
Our Boards Workshop is designed for medical students, physicians, and those in related fields who self-identify as “bad test-takers” on medical board exams like the USMLE, COMLEX, NAVLE, shelf exams, specialty boards (e.g., EM, peds, IM, anesthesiology, etc.), and related medical board exams (NAPLEX, NBEO, etc.).
The workshop teaches a rigid step-by-step process for reading every test question by anticipating common areas where reading and thinking break down, limiting the burden on certain cognitive processes (like working memory), and using self-identified data to track the “micro-decisions” made en route to selecting answers to change behaviors.
An explicit training sequence is used to accelerate mastery of the STATMed Process so that you can regain control of your test-taking and truly show what you know on test day.

Our Boards Workshops lead instructor, David, talks about how taking the emotion out of the equation on test day can help maximize your results.
Do Any Of These Sound Like You?
I do great clinically, but I can’t translate what I know to exams.
I always narrow it down to two and then pick the wrong one.
I read the explanation and then realize I should have gotten it right.
I miss or distort key clues and don’t trust myself.
My ADHD makes it super-hard to hold onto all the information in a vignette
I’m always running out of time rushing to catch up.
